In short: Castfic lets your own characters act out a scene while you direct. Try 1 scene free without signing up; after that it's 1 free scene a day, a $4.99 Scene Pass, or Plus at $7.99/month.
| What it is | An AI fanfic generator: 2–4 of your own characters act out a trope scene, each played separately with only their own card and secret. |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 scene without an account; 1 scene a day after Google sign-in; the Daily Scene; a bonus scene every 3-day streak. |
| Scene Pass | $4.99 one-off for 15 scenes, valid 12 months. No subscription. |
| Plus | $7.99/month or $59/year: 80 scenes and 20 polished rewrites a month, 50 memories per character. |
| Scene length | 8 rounds, about 30–35 lines; a scene plays in roughly 40 seconds. |
| Directing | Private note to one character, who speaks first, two suggested directions, redo last round. |
| Rewrite | Prose (sweet, angst, comedy, AO3-style) or Fountain screenplay; up to 6 rewrites per scene. Sample: 1,240 words. |
| Memory | Each character keeps what happened (3 memories free, 50 on Plus) for the next scene. |
| Export / import | Markdown and Fountain free; Word (.doc) and character cards with a Pass or Plus. Imports SillyTavern cards (PNG or JSON). |
| Content | All ages, 13+ (16+ in the EU/UK). Your own characters or fan versions (not Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Nintendo or Pokémon). No sexual content; romance stops at a kiss between adults. Signed-in adults can opt into Mature themes: darker drama, intimate moments fade out. |
| Privacy | Scenes are private, not used for AI training, deletable in one click. Shared links are never indexed. |
